Stake Conference:
- Let's follow the Savior's example but inviting others to "Come" -- come to my home, come eat some dinner, come learn about physical health, come make friends, come to church, come teach us something, etc.
- Service vs. Ministering: Ministering always includes an invitation to Come Unto Christ
- Our invitations are that "perhaps" others may... (Alma 17:16)
- Ministering is simply "sharing" -- share time, talents, space, burdens, food, testimony, etc.
- Ministering is essential because 1. It helps us become like Christ 2. It helps us stay like Christ
- If you can't smile in your church service, you're not balancing the role the Savior should be playing in your service (Matthew 11: 28-30)
- JOY: encompassed, devoured, engulfed, consumed, invaded, conquered
- Serving the Masses: TEACH correct principles; Serving the One: APPLY correct principles
- I'm grateful that I can attend leadership training meetings. It's often in those meetings that my personal discipleship is mentored and strengthened.
- I love Christ because He knows me fully and (still) loves me.
- I'd love to TEACH (not share *hehe*) the gospel fulltime!
- I want to be better at the "moments" of connecting with people.
- I want to be a direct contributor to the gathering of Israel.
- As my branches grow more visible, I feel safety in having a companion. But if not...
- I'd still love to serve with my companion the people of Asia. I'd like both!
