Two Part

Part 1

I was talking to the bestie and declared my realization:

For a certain kind of man, I'm going to be a really easy, low-maintenance wife. 👍
For a different kind of man, I'm going to be terribly overwhelming, way too complicated, and probably eventually completely exhausting. 😔

Part II

I've started preparing for my BU course I'll be adjuncting in a couple of weeks and some of the course material require students to identify their learning styles. I LOVE these kinds of things so of course I took one of the assessments (@cam https://www.literacynet.org/mi/assessment/findyourstrengths.html).

I've taken a ton of these in the past and so the results weren't anything new... But this time, as I chuckled at how accurately it described me, all of a sudden I realized just how much the Lord has worked with me.

#1-Self (Intrapersonal): You have a very good sense of self. You like to spend time by yourself and think things over. You will often take in information from another person, mull it over by yourself, and come back to that person later to discuss it. You like working on projects on your own. You often prefer to learn by trial and error. Effective techniques to enhance your learning include keeping a journal and giving yourself time to reflect on new ideas and information.

#2-Social (Interpersonal): You like to develop ideas and learn from other people. You like to talk. You have good social skills. Effective techniques of enhancing your learning using your social intelligence include taking part in group discussions or discussing a topic one-to-one with another person.

#3-Spatial: You remember things visually, including exact sizes and shapes of objects. You like posters, charts, and graphics. You like any kind of visual clues. You enjoy drawing. Effective techniques of enhancing your learning using your spatial intelligence include creating and/or using pictures, maps, diagrams, and graphs as you learn things.

With all my idiosyncrasies, and my complicated mind, and my need for people, and my partiality towards visual--I'm humbled that He worked with that. That He didn't use the constraints of time or social norms or cultural expectations, but just my sincere heart to follow Him, to do His will, and return back Home. And then He worked with my learning style to teach me how.

When I first heard this on the radio I actually  had no idea it was a Christian song--I thought it was like a Top 40's song--until I realized I had my radio dialed to K-LOVE. Haha. But anyway, it's come back to my mind as I've thought about how well it captures my gratitude. 😊
